Sherri Shepherd

 Sherri Shepherd is an American actor, comedian TV personality, comedian, and writer, is most well-known for her role as host of the talk show daytime "The View" and for her numerous roles on popular comedy shows. Her birthplace was in Chicago, Illinois, on 22nd April, 1967. She is the daughter of LaVerne Shepherd and Lawrence Shepherd. Her upbringing was influenced by her parents LaVerne and Lawrence Shepherd. Her father was employed as a manager of a restaurant at the church they attended and her mother was a housekeeper. Shepherd is the eldest daughter of the three. When she was working at Beverly Hills as a legal secretary, Shepherd started performing stand-up. When she was cast in "Cleghorne!", she made the decision to quit her job in pursuit of an acting career. The WB broadcast the show for one season from 1995. Shepherd faced financial difficulties following the show's cancellation and had to live with her friends for the entire year while she sought other roles.
